Sustainable. From winemaker Natasha Williams. 100% Chardonnay. Picked on 01 Feb 2023, whole bunch pressed and settled overnight. Spontaneous fermentation and bottled on the 12th day of fermentation. Fermentation completed in the bottle, Methode Ancestrale sparkling wine. Wine was left on the lees for 6 months. Bottles were riddled and disgorged in Aug 2023.
Sustainable. 100% Cinsault; fruit sourced from the Stellenbosch region. Winemaker Katie xx produced this méthode ancestrale style for Nice Beverage Co. Light tone, somewhat creamy like strawberries and cream, high acidity, dry finish.
Sustainable. 100% Sauvignon Blanc made on skins for seven days. Winemaker and farmer Wade Sander is one of the only Black farmer-winemakers on his own family property in all of South Africa; he produces this wine for Nice Beverage Co.
Sustainable. Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault. Winemaker Kiara xx makes this wine for Nice Beverage Wine Co. Fruit drawn from the "exceedingly traditional but underrepresented" winemaking region of Paarl, in particular mature bush vine vineyards. It's bottled in the lightest possible glass that the company can source, in order to reduce carbon footprint in shipping.
